Course standards
All wildfire suppression and ICS courses taught by Guidance Group, Inc.
instructors fully comply with National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG)
standards. All Guidance Group instructors are knowledgeable wildfire
specialists with extensive fire management experience. The Northern
Rockies Coordinating Group (NRCG) has certified Guidance Group, Inc as a
Private Training Provider and the Guidance Group maintains a Memorandum
of Understanding with the NRCG.
Documentation of training
Upon successful completion of required training objectives,
Guidance Group, Inc. will issue appropriate documentation to all
students. Instructors may validate classroom elements in previously
initiated Position Task Books once the student has successfully
demonstrated that they have mastered the specific tasks.
Course locations
We conduct courses that are open to the public at centralized
locations in Southwest Montana. We are also prepared to conduct
training at your site or at centralized training locations throughout
the Northern Rockies and in other geographic areas. Classes can be
arranged for weekdays, weekends or evenings, depending on your
organization's needs.

All students must register for classes two weeks
prior to the class
Minimum Class Size: 10 students.
Classes not meeting student minimums may be canceled or held at an
alternate location. Your registration fee will be refunded in full
if our class is not held as scheduled.
We accept Cash, Check, Visa/Mastercard for payment.
Class dates and locations subject to change based on student needs
and enrollment. All registered students will be notified by phone
or e-mail of any changes.
