An article about the concept of Leader's Intent co-authored by Mr. Michael DeGrosky, CEO of the Guidance Group, Inc. that appeared in a special issue of the journal Leadership.

"Managing the Meaning of Leadership: Leadership as Communicating Intent in Wildland Firefighting," co-authored with Assistant Professor of Communication, Dr. Jennifer Ziegler of Valparaiso University, examines communication practices recommended to firefighters as the wildland fire community implements a form of Auftragstaktik, a military command philosophy that originated in the German Army.
